James Leo Judge, age 85 of Davenport, Iowa, formerly of Melrose died on Saturday evening, July 2, 2011 at St. Mary's in Davenport. He was born to Peter and Hanna (Hannam) Judge on November 22, 1925 in Melrose.
James graduated High School in Melrose. He then was enlisted with the United States Army during World War II. He married Ethel Thrasher in 1957 in Dallas, Texas. He was a Mechanic by trade at Alcoa on heavy equipment. James always enjoyed working on cars.
Survivors include: wife, Ethel, daughter, Trina (Roger) Krueger of Aurora, IL; sisters, Irene Bellesky of Silver Springs, MD, and Maria Butler of Dallas, TX; brother, John (Bernadine) Judge of Urbandale, IA, two granddaughters, and two great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
An Open Visitation will family present will be on Thursday, July 7, 2011 from 12-2 p.m. at the Sinnott Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Albia. Family Graveside Services will follow in Mt.
